I hope that Moffat doesn't, because I don't think he really "gets" Time Lords.
The Doctor is already an incredibly dark character. He originally supposed to be the villain. Every single iteration of the character's done some fucked up shit and been, at the very least, super creepy.
What was realistic about Skyfall? It was way too abstract to be "gritty"
The psycho version of Chuck is like, super depressing though.
No, the genius of Dead Rising is how inventive and silly it is.
Todd looks so midwestern. Like he's a city councilor in Cornfed, Iowa.
The new one's supposed to be a big step back toward 2. Back to subhoods and one house at a time.

I thought it was Marji who got divorced, not her parents?
I can never see that room without thinking of the gay porn that was made in it.
Lack of identity?
I personally like it because it's got a strong, affectionate family unit at the center, but isn't afraid to go really weird or dark. Like when the trans prostitutes Bob did crack with helped him save Tina's birthday party by blackmailing Jimmy Pesto over his adult diaper fetish. Sort of like Community.
It comes from an old german hunting call, IIRC.
Fun Fact regarding "Hello": Before the telephone, it was not, in fact, a greeting. It was an exclamation used to attract attention or express surprise.
I tried to think of a historical figure who, like modern TV writers, is defined by enormous contempt for the hand that feeds, but I got nothin'.
