Is it?
Is it?
Passing stories are incredibly fraught because, like, passing is.
The Doctor's education is actually brought up during the Key to Time arc. Basically he got a gentleman's third on his second go. Doctor is just an affectation
I don't even really know. I'm just afraid that it's something that would be tacitly understood by dint of the fact that I'm actively seeking out a trans man for sex.
I guess my issue is that I want the boundaries to be more clearly inscribed, but I know that broaching the topic is kind of a big dick move for the reasons you've mentioned.
Maybe big finish will put it out in twenty years, sweetie
That's true, I guess. I suppose I'm over-complicating it because, like I said, I really don't want to violate someone else's boundaries for the sake of my interest.
I'm more just afraid of the awkwardness, since the trans people I know personally are incredibly clear about how they want to pass and live as the gender they identify as without being constantly reminded of their status.
Remember when the AV Club got salty about Daria because only one of the people talking about it had watched enough of it to realize that it humanize a its secondary characters and Daria herself by giving them deeper shading and character growth?
So, I have a pretty entry level question:
After how badly that worked on Arrested Development?
These were the best days of my… fluuuuuuuurm
Shut the fuck up, Oral Germ Whore
I didn't actually find Ten's regeneration that sad. I think that it wore out its welcome too much to be emotionally effective.
She's definitely back at Christmas, but she might leave then. Especially since Father Christmas laid it on all thick about how she and the Doctor shouldn't part on bad terms and how they needed to do it right.
The issue with Douglas is that he's really defined by his work. If you look at him outside of how he functions as part of the ensemble? He's really a sad man. We've seen him get divorced from Helena, he's seemingly estranged from his daughter… He only seems happy when he's playing word games, hanging out in the secret…
Eh— It's obvious they're playing to costume drama cliche rather than to reality. Most of the English accents used by nominally French characters are just as fake.
So I ran the numbers, by which I mean, I looked at the credits under additional voices. Seems like a pretty even mix in terms of name origin. So I have a new theory:
Pissed the developers off too because it fucked with their plans for character design.
Knowing where it was developed, the actors playing background mooks are probably French Canadian. It's quite a different accent and isn't regulated by the same government body that's in charge of French in France.
