I for the most part have never named any of my cars either. I’m not very creative or maybe I’m just lazy. Want proof? The one time I actually named one of my cars was my 1999 Infiniti I30. It was green and I named it the “Green Machine”. Yes, lame and unoriginal but it stuck.

I think I posted a similar reply last year but I’ve always wondered if Rob receives hate mail from sellers who are angry that he posted their ad. I always thought it would be cool if you could post them for us to read.

That was very well put. I wasn’t quite a teenager when Buick sold these so I don’t remember them when new but in the 1990's they were already legendary. This was pre internet and I remember my friends and I hearing stories about these cars that we tried to verify through any old car magazines that we could find.  I’ve

I’ve also been using that one for a few years for Ford vehicles and it still works for me. I just tried it now. The thing with that one though has always been that it mostly only works with used Ford vehicles that are being sold at a Ford dealership. I’ve never gotten it to work with a Ford vehicle being sold at non

Funny you mention that because I’ve been relentlessly searching for a low mileage Beetle R-Line convertible with a manual transmission for about 3 months now with not much luck.  They aren’t easy to find with a manual transmission especially when I want certain options like the Fender audio system.

I’m just a few years older than you and I totally relate.  I was in high school when the Mark VIII came out and I was also instantly in love it.  The interior really grabbed me with it’s wrap around cockpit like dash.  I ended up owning two Thunderbird’s in the 90's, a 1991 and then a 1994.  Never did get a Mark VII

I had a 1991 Thunderbird & somewhat more recently my wife had a 2005 Mariner and both had the keypad. On both of them they came from the factory with a code. You could then add an additional personalized code but it did not replace the original code. So once you added your own additional personal code you could at

That’s funny because I also still remember the code for my 1991 Thunderbird, 83078.  And I haven’t owned that car in over 20 years.
