There are a couple of counter arguments:

I wouldn’t say that we don’t know why it happens, it’s pretty damn clear from the beginning pages that America bombs Canada due to believing that they’re behind an attack on the White House.

I understand that, but they’re also not AAA titles at launch either. Those are what I’m curious to see about.

Just a small point, GOG is owned by CDPR, the creators of The Witcher, so it being on the platform isn’t exactly a surprise. The real question becomes whether other publishers will bring their big titles over at launch (or just wait until later)
