This reminds of the Chris Rock skit from when he hosted the Oscars, where they interviewed black people in a theatre and asked what movies they watched that year, and they were all pretty crappy movies (I believe there was a lot of Alien v Predator part 2 and White Chicks mentioned).
This does not show what movie they are seeing though. So the question remains, are they going to action movies with their dates, thus the men are choosing? If they are going to more movies than men (and without men), why? Why do we continue to support the movie industry and then complain there are no good movie…
Gender-swapped American Pie? I ... Would totally watch that! Do they film these live reads?
Your life is ridiculous.
Move over, Affluenza, "I am the victim because I made a mistake" will be our newest batshit crazy legal defense.
I think our culture blames lonely people for their loneliness. It certainly blames single people for being single or the jobless for being jobless. There is always the underlying idea that *you* must have done *something* wrong, because everyone knows that all normal people are not lonely or single or jobless. It's…
Really impressed how a sort of interesting article about loneliness managed to inspire yet another rant about fatphobia.
Wait. You're telling me that there's a secondary market for $100 yoga pants where people pay MORE than $100? WHY?!?
As a fellow soul-cyster (I also have PCOS) I would have a full goatee if I were to rock it. I am envious of her ability to accept herself. It something I have never been able to do, nor do I think I ever will.
Wow, that is fucking fearless. And I'm afraid to leave the house when my hair isn't perfectly in place. Kind of wish I could shake this woman's hand.
I'm not a doctor, but.... Wouldn't a lot of std's be communicable this way?!? Like herpes, AIDS, crabs (if they hit hair on the way into the mouth), I'd have to look up gonnarhea and chlamydia to say for sure... Just nasty, Miley. Nasty.
:^)
It always strikes me as a difficult position, to be so phenomenally beautiful and yet so obviously intelligent and capable. It must be difficult to have people try to push you into being a sex symbol or a model or some other thing that focuses on your looks when you have so much more that you can do. How do you…
This is her message:
Jolie always struck me as someone who was bored, kinda like the scene from Cabin Pressure: "So very, very bored." Then she started doing things she wanted to do, like adopt Maddox and get involved with the UN. And, suddenly, she turned into a completely different person. Alive, alert, busy. She found her thing. She…
I thought I was the only one over it. At first it was chuckle inducing here and there. Now it makes me want to vomit. If this is her "tradition", fine. But I'm so over the "finger mustache", mustache straws, sunglasses, paper ones on sticks via photo booths..really just..god stop.
