This show has to be renewed! It’s too good and of course Tic, Ruby and even Christina (shudder...) could possibly return.

I was right, everybody lost something at the end because Lovecraft magic is always bad.

I am glad she wrote that she was NOT ok. It’s been time to make white people uncomfortable. White folks, these are your friends, family members doing this BS and we are supposed to not react so you don’t feel bad about not saying something to them about this racist shit they do and say? 

And for the people who did it, this counts as an accomplishment. Probably the biggest one they’ll achieve.

This was a hard episode to watch but that’s because it was so amazingly well done.

Really weird that the goat argument usually has lbj and mj as 1&2 and Kareem is lucky to be 4.

You’re not wrong I was just hoping it would be more like the previous episode where the whole thing was divorced from the ‘current events’ throughline of the show.  The Amazons vs. Confederates part was definitely a deep cut though:)

They leaned hard af into Afrofuturism. Simply into one of the aspects that isn’t as well known as other. But this is deep Afrofuturism, they did a lot of research. I would recommend the paper in the reference section for more information.
