Another reason is that if not landed perfectly the toe pick absolutely destroys the ice. Landing a back flip even slightly off can create a serious divot that becomes dangerous for other skaters.

How about, where is Luke’s Green Lightsaber?
Science Fiction
Where is Vodka Sam Now?
This website and many others like it are exact form of welcoming and inclusive community that makes the internet a great place. The common interests and relationships built through shared fandom are indispensable for many people out there. As someone who has not been very exposed to the “fake geek girl” meme, does not…
It’s like the entire team simultaneously stopped to admire the fact they were playing in the most picturesque pastoral setting since “Field of Dreams”
Seems like a lot of work for just one flight? Flat-bedding it in pieces would not have been easier? But not complaining, this is pretty awesome. Airline Reporter has a great flickr page on it!
Just because it’s over central NJ should not rule out the Navy. In fact it’s probably just as likely since NAS Lakehurst often sees a lot of activity when doing testing for launch and recovery. For example, here’s an F-35 testing for catapult take offs.
Thanks! That photo helps a lot, I understand the ducting now!
So I get the idea behind the reverse flow, but why? As someone not fully schooled in powerplants and turbine’s in general, it seems that having the intake face forward would allow more air to be rammed into the compressor just by the forward movement of the aircraft. It seems pulling air from the laminar flow around…

Someone who flies rotary wing craft could probably clarify, but does the tailboom/tail-rotor assembly just go “Screw this, not enough torque to counter, I’m going to disintegrate,” or is the reason it seems to just shatter is because it was hit by a main rotor I can’t see.
I find this interpretation of how we seem to treat soldiers and veterans very interesting. As someone too young to remember anything past soldiers returning home from The Gulf War it seems strange to hear how some were treated.
·I appreciate this article, Veterans Day and all those who sacrifice even just a little to improve this world. However, it is sometimes hard to look at stories such as Mr. Carpenter’s and not feel extreme sadness. His experience is something something he volunteered for and hopefully understood may happen to him and…
All of the digital/CGI dinosaurs I believe were ILM so maybe that’s where they made their mistake.
YAY! Putting stereotypes to good use! Making friends, staying out of trouble and having a good time.
Also, remember that the JPATS was a partial result of not taking the Fairchild T-46 (Eaglet), which was pretty cool and kept a side-by-side cockpit. There’s one sitting at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Long Island.
OH NO! It appears there was just too much fire. It looks like Precious Metal burned down at a refueling stop at Marianna Municipal Airport in Jackson County, Florida.
Totally missed an opportunity to investigate the potential dumpster fire that will be the quarterback position this year. Not to mention any residual effect from the Kain Colter-University Union Busting Madness...WOMP WOMP WOMP
