It’s lovely, but I wonder about the proportion of unobtainium in all those parts as this thing ages. $7,200 isn’t drive-it-until-it-breaks money, at least not for me.

You’d be surprised what is out there in the aftermarket. I purchased an ‘04 LX470, which had an old system which unfortunately controls the HVAC as well, making a simple replacement difficult. Luckily, there are a wealth of aftermarket android based headunits made specifically for it that include a canbus decoder and…
I didn’t breed, so the the Earth can rotate for all I care.
Why that’s outlandish, ridiculous...., Michael Keaton as batman again? What’s he like 100?
I spent an hour in one of these over the weekend, and here’s my summary (back in the old days we’d go to OppositeLock for this and complain about the reviews on the FP... but I digress):
You guys don’t take notes when driving press vehicles? With the right notes it should be easy to poop out a review that would be just as good if you wrote one soon after driving it. I get it, it’s a 100k escalade, not really fun or exciting, and not many here would care about it. Go find some college intern to do the…
Every time someone tries to explain “crypto” to me:
Is the guy that did that still here?
Russian hybrid:
So Tesla’s monitoring the driver to ensure the driver monitors the autopilot.
This is an absolutely bonkers price to pay for a K car, but...
Rushed to respond ND, now I’ll read the details....
It’s a Torchinsky post, it is commentary from his comedic viewpoint. He stated nobody was injured, we clearly know as readers that the drivers had to have been doing something monumentally negligent to make this happen, and we already have enough shitty news to doomscroll through. So instead, we all revel in the sheer…
And I thought it was only the prices on used Malibus that had gone through the roof.
I see a Land Cruiser of Theseus in someone’s future... someone else’s.
“Crosstrek.....snapping my neck”? See.....I know this isn’t true because no Crosstrek in the history of ever has accelerated fast enough to snap a neck!
“and over 6000 GVWR (for taxes)“
I’m sorry. What is the purpose of this fucking exemption this guy is apparently applicable for with the GVWR tax break? Man. That shit’s infuriating. I can’t even type a rationale sentence out. Imagine buying a $150k car and worrying about taxes. I guess this is why the rich get/stay rich. I hope he fills it with gas…
Right! Ford didn’t need to spin its trucks off into a different brand. Neither did Chevy. I’ll give them a pass on GMC because it has been around for 100 years or so. I can’t see one single benefit to spinning off Ram. There is no way it helps to make money selling vehicles, which should be the main goal of automakers.
The dumb thing is, is that Dodge would be super successful if they never spun Ram off into it’s own brand.
