They don’t have to go to the trasporter room it just saves a step, site to site transportation requires a step in the trasporter buffer. At least that’s my theory!

From what I’ve read on here these motors need a bunch of maintenance at like 60k miles, I wonder if he’s had that done, not once but 2x? CP even tho I like these.  I think the second gen look better however!
