“Maybe we should’ve added “racist marketing at the expense of African Americans” to our list of things to leave in 2017, because H&M kicked off the new year by inciting mass rage Sunday, when an image on its website featured an African-American child model in a sweatshirt labeled “Coolest Monkey in the Jungle.””
A lovely tribute to a wonderful, incredibly talented, man.
Girls Trip was also a big hit. One of the few comedies to do well.
Hi Dodai!
What? I had that cut in the 90s as did a lot of black women and other women of color. It was the Halle Berry pixie.
The artist/photograher has a very interesting backstory.

But she wasn’t super rich when she went on the trip. She was actually broke. She wasn’t always a broke writer, as she had critical and commercial success, but she gave everything (except future earnings) to her ex.
Size 0 was not the norm in the 80s/90s pre-Kate Moss. Those models had curves and I don’t think they distracted from the clothes.
It was The New Yorker but I can’t seem the post the link.
She did not attend Cordon Bleu and she married an extremely wealthy guy who made make McMansions. There is a lot of PR spin about her past.
