It was so bizarre to watch Husbands And Wives in NYC the week it came out. Some of the dialogue was very uncomfortable. The late Mr. Pollack was incredible. And Judy f-ing Davis. Her rant,"DON'T DEFEND YOUR SEX!" was one of the funniest scenes in cinema.
