No. They have a pretty temperate climate.

To be fair, she was sending mixed signals

Probably thinks that Grant is good, and better than Ezra.

Jesus Christ, America. Fix your goddamn life.

Honestly, this is exactly what I fist thought about, too! As a white woman, I was like, ‘yeah but even if this wasn’t a bullshit response in the first place, what was the last thing white women did collectively...get Trump elected? Yeah, we don’t deserve any sort of shout out.’

THIS!

He’s saying that “If we/one can”, or that they are attempting to draw that line in big bright highlighter pen that is impossible to ignore. They are attempting to educate the middle-American on the history of slavery and institutional racism, which many (wrongly) believe do not exist.

Look, I’m not saying it’s gonna be

It’s honestly about time since Thor and GotG kinda went hand in hand in the comics after awhile. I truly hated the first two Thors purely because they hinted at the Jack Kirbyness Thor tended to be, while not embracing it like GotG eventually did.

I know right? this SJWs are pushing their agenda making all daughters female, I can’t take it anymore

Now the daughter is a female as well?!

“The big trouble with dumb bastards is that they are too dumb to believe there is such a thing as being smart.”

Here a wish io9 - can we not have an article cataloguing every misoginist trolls’ angry tweet about it this time? That would just be giving these babies what they want - attention. Let’s just ignore their whining.

I’d be really pleased if those of you who claim to be ALL ABOUT equality...didn’t gleefully and vehemently shout “sexist” at anyone who might be a traditionalist about a piece of fiction and happen to have a differing opinion to you. Just because some people might want the character to remain the male gender, does not

Wow, this is hands down the best drama to come out of the walking dead in years.

Would you please stop misusing that comic like a complete moron? The comic was intended to explain why people who get banned from websites can’t complain about free speech, because its a private venue. If the comic was being removed because store owners refused to sell it because of its cover, then it would be

I think the hero of those pages is obviously the transwoman, she’s scared for her life and defends herself. I really don’t see anything ugly, maybe crass.

This is idiotic. The image is provocative and is reminiscent of lynchings of black Americans, but now the target is of a different background. It doesn’t take a genius to connect these dots or to understand the messaging.

I get that but as someone who has read comics all my life, If I walked into a bookstore and saw this I would think that the story would relate to the cover. (I know this is not always true but more often then not it is.)

History certainly is terrifying to those who want to pretend it never happened. The truth is ugly - it needs to stay ugly, and visible.

I watched Suicide Squad to get some perspective. I did not enjoy that.
