Yeah, the show overlooked details. What else is new? :D There was never a stillbirth in the books, only a pregnancy she terminated early on. I forget whether anyone else in the show ever refers to this stillbirth, I have a feeling Robert does, but I’m not sure.

Mistyped - they share nearly as much DNA as regular siblings. Dany and Rhaegar (Jon’s dad) shared more than identical twins do.

Yes, but because of incest in the previous generation they share way more DNA than regular siblings, nearly as much DNA as identical twins, in fact. It’s still squicky.

There’s way more leeway around “When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then he will return, and not before” than around “Will the king and I have children?” “Oh, aye. Six-and-ten

Cersei has been prophesied to have only 3 kids and loose all three. She’s done with kids. She’ll either die, miscarry or have a stillbirth.

No, he couldn’t. A horse gets tired pretty quickly carrying two grown people, especially a horse that is not completely fresh and especially if it’s cold. I don’t know how familiar you are with horses, but the undead would catch up to both of them pretty quickly. By sacrificing himself, Benjen gave Jon the necessary

I’ve never liked Arya very much (I did love her, however, like most GRRM’s characters :)) but the way she’s behaving atm makes me hope it’s some sort of ploy to catch Littlefinger in the wrong or sth. Because if it isn’t it’s just heartbreaking.

True, but that’s her problem, not Sansa’s.

Well, watch again. When it shows the seven guys there are three others behind them puling a sleigh thingy.

Agreed. It really show Martin only gave them the bones. Ever since they started changing things it’s been going downhill re: logic and consistency, but now that they’re beyond the books it’s getting ridiculous. It’s still immensely enjoyable and a good show, but we’ve learnt to expect more.

Oh, come on - these randoms were with them the whole time, even at the end of last episode. Just pay attention. One was always in the front and two at the back, dragging a sleigh.

And go where? He can’t pass through the Wall. He’s dead already. He was brought back because he had a purpose (saving Bran, and now saving Jon). He obviously no longer has a purpose.

Yeah, Othor’s eyes obviously turned blue *after* he was made a wight. But he was made a wight before he was brought to the Wall. His eyes are blue when they find him in the forest north of the Wall. Check it out if you want, it’s GoT, Jon VII.

They seem to work agains wights, too, in fact. Remember when Jorah stabbed the zombie bear with his dagger and is just immediately keeled over? He had been hacked at and was basically on fire, and still it was fighting, and then Jorah comes with his dragonglass and it just shuts down.

It wasn’t Jon’s idea to go beyond the Wall to get a wight. Once people started volunteering of course he’d go along. He’s the only one who’s ever been there and the only one with a Valyrian sword. If he hadn’t gone they’d never ever be able to make it even that far. He actually did the best he could do to save them

Jon accepting Daenerys as his queen actually makes a lot of sense. He didn’t want to at first because he doesn’t know her and doesn’t know if she’d be good for his people. The fact she was willing to sacrifice even her own safety (besides that of her dragons) to save them proved to him she was the kind of leader that

No, Yoren grabs her later on. She still sees Sansa start pleading and can hear her screams until after they cut his head off. Rewatch, you’ll see.

Agree with everything, except that IMO Arya was always the more obnoxious of the two.

Nope, she saw that part. Rewatch, you’ll see. The camera pans to Sansa screaming her lungs out when in Sansa’s POV. Only then does Yoren cover her eyes to spare her the sight of her father losing his head.

Well, perhaps the Night King is a Targ ;) (I don’t think that’s so, but just for the sake of it...).
