That’s an Albanian name. That she’d attack Muslim women is... unexpected :) I mean, I know there are Christians and atheists in Albania, but still.

Good. Otherwise what’s the point of the legislation? They need to show they mean it.

That is a good, albeit complicated and likely expensive solution (at the start). My problem was with the OP’s idea that if a person self-identifies as a woman, she then competes with women; that, I think we agree, is impossible and the end of women competing.

Thank you for illustrating my point so well!

I hope this is sarcasm, but I think I’m wrong. If this is a real comment then dividing competitions into men’s and women’s is done for, which means women are done competing in sports.

Well, aren’t you vindicated? I love it after the comments you’ve been getting. Full disclaimer: not American, not Brazilian.

“Really Hagrid, if you are holding out for universal popularity, I’m afraid you’ll be in this cabin for a very long time.” (Dumbledore, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire)

I always thought that medals per capita is a much more sensible metric than just the no. of medals...

I love you :D

Thanks. It was a legit question, I’ve never been to an Anthropologie store, and I only have one maxi skirt, which is great, but the only thing I could justify buying in the last 5 years since I’ve discovered the brand. But I feel the same about every brand and have most clothes made by a seamstress, so I don’t

Why isn’t it? O_o

That’s heart-breaking :( My parents only bought me Lego blocks and toy cars and stuff. I was a tomboy when I was a little girl, short hair included, and those were the toys that I wanted. I did get a few Barbies (if I remember correctly I had 2, or maybe 3) from my grandmas, but the only Barbie thing my parents bought

I thought we all have implicit racial bias but to different extents. Which is why I said I do not consider myself *very* racist, but I know I am. Like a spectrum.

Trust me, mine didn’t. I’m Slovene.

Of course not, you are entitled to call me racist if you wish (I do not consider myself very racist and I do not consider Syrians a different race from me, since we share a similar colouring, but I do have racial bias, I freely admit to that) even though it’s not very polite. You insulted me by addressing me sweetie

While I’m not. Shouldn’t you take the immigrants then, to satisfy karma?

I thought that’d be obvious - we = me and people who think like me. You don’t have to tell me not everybody thinks like me, that’s obvious from the fact the immigrants actually got in in such numbers; but I think I don’t have to tell you that not everybody thinks like you, either. I’m simply expressing my opinion

Oh, look, another one last night (Ansbach - I’d better specify the place, the night is still young). That’s the third in three days. My evidence seems to be getting stronger, sadly.

OK, against the will of a large number of voters, then. It would be interesting to know what the result would be if they asked us, referendum-style.

So... are you Native American?
