COTD

That makes two us.

Easy COTD lol

This is a fact.  The moment the original CLS identified as a coupe, we got into a dangerous game lol.  That’s it!!  That’s where this whole identify politics nonsense started: With Mercedes Benz!  Blame the guys in Affalterbach.

My brother had one of these and although the power was intoxicating the car was an absolute money pit.  They’re not that reliable these things but if you have $5000-10,000 laying around for repairs I’d say it’s a good buy.  Just know what you’re getting into.  A Japanese economy car, it is not.

What do you guys mean “finally”?? There was a RWD option in 2018 that started at $130K.

That said, he does sound a bit immature and childish. Like there are a million different cars to suit his taste.  Yet he decided to vent so vividly about his distaste for the Supra.  He’s obviously a c300 coupe kinda guy.

I’m not a boomer (far from) but can we please stop saying this?  I feel like I lose a few brain cells every time I read it.  It’s a cheap cop out just like calling someone a racist/bigot/homophobe/Xenophobe that doesn’t necessarily align with your (not yours particularly) views.

No need to worry, with a little patience they’ll be selling for $10-15K below MSRP in a few years with discounts.

I feel like I know what you’re alluding to, but I can’t seem to put a finger on it lol.

I feel the same way.  It’s almost as if they have to write them that way.

Lexus GX460.  Undisputed build quality and reliability.  Literally designed to withstand the apocalypse.  Technology is good not great and it isn’t an X5 in driving dynamics but it is as tough as a vault and has a silky V8 motor.

There’s is a major disadvantage to buying this car. It’s call the Vantage V8 roadster which can be had for the same price with much better fit and finish as well as power to weight ratio. The V8 in the vantage also sound a lot better the crappy dual-Duratec V12.

Explorer is great by every metric in a comparison.  At my job we have two tellurides in the lot and they really don’t appeal to me at all.  The ad campaign is great and it looks capable in the commercials but in person it lacks road presence or a premium feel and can’t be compared.  The Explorer on the other hand

As a RAM 1500 owner with a $50K sticker and almost $10K off MSRP, I can attest to this.  There is no reason to go for it.

As a 2017 Lexus GX460 owner, I can attest to how well built the vehicle is. After 25,000 miles, we haven’t encountered a single issue. I can’t even think of something minuscule. It’s that we’ll built. It was for my wife and I originally wanted to get her an X5 but after reading many reviews and not having enough

Because it’ll never happen.  Duh!!

C7 Z06 for $75K or Launch Edition mKV at $75K. C7 z06 for me.

Heated and ventilated rear seats, an ice box between the rear passengers and automatically swiveling vents to direct the air around the entire cabin.  My aunt has one, she bought it 13 years ago and it’s been running silky ever since.

We’ve had one of these in the family for 20 years. At 225,000 miles besides standard maintenance and I really mean standard (just oil change and brakes), it has yet to give a single issue. We recently did the catalytic converter (expected) but otherwise we haven’t even changed the plugs yet. I plan on helping my
