As a 997 Turbo owner, I can’t agree with you enough about this new 992 gen car.  It is unacceptable to offer a 2020 Carrera with 379 HP.  That said, I expect the numbers are underrated as the base 991.2 Carrera was faster than the 991.1 GTS and pulled a 0-60 in 3.5 seconds with car and driver.  If they advertise mid 3

Correction!! Toddler and small children car seats. I have two of them in the back of mine. It was the only way I could justify the purchase to the wife :-)

It’s so strange, I felt the same way about the 340i.  I don’t know why it felt like it ran out of steam.  As for the other cars (specifically M), they pull like freight trains.

Huracans do not fall into this category.  The lowest priced Huracans are no less than $175K and brand new those cars were $220.  After 4 years that represents roughly 20% depreciation.  Far, far better  than i8.

Absolute and total crack pipe.  If a rugged, luxurious and reliable off roader is what you’re after, do you know what kind of land cruiser $22K can buy???  Certainly a much better one than this very dated and poser-ish G wagen.  I would say the only reason someone would buy this to say to other people “I drive a G

I remember when Z8’s were less than $70K (for a small period of time) and the Alpinas were less sought after because they didn’t have the S62 engine which was bespoke to the E39 M5.  Man if I only knew they’d have skyrocketed.

When?? Like never.  This is coming from a huge Nissan Z enthusiast who owned a 300Zx and a 350Z.  The 370Z was good, not great and is very very very long in the tooth.

Had one, I can agree it is easily one of the best driving experiences at any price point.

It weighs the same as an M850i.  Did Kia do something amazing or did BMW not GAF??

I have a 997 Turbo.  I promise you as a current owner this dilemma you have will become an even larger problem as the time winds down because the new car is just oh so good.  Now if you’re tuning the 997 is still the way to go.  Stock for stock however there are lots things to consider.  I’d say as a new car the

How the hell did that happen??

100% this.

Third pedal used with left leg = manual

I’ll just leave this 959 S (1 of 26) total unicorn here for you gentlemen (and women) to feast your eyes on. This car fetched over 7 figures at a Sotheby’s international auction and was promptly flown overnight to an undisclosed (and obviously very wealthy) customer here in NY where it was serviced immediately by one

Counterpoint: I actually saw what you did there :-)

It’s not every 24K miles, it’s every 40K. Pretty big difference.

I agree to disagree. Insane isn’t the word I’d choose to describe that community. I’m a member and they’re all very very good people. Everyone has been exceptionally helpful and great to share information. They’re all very down to earth which is surprising given most of their income levels. I’m probably bottom

100% not pedantic. I like Freddy but when I read this I facepalmed. I take this personally because I own a 2008 997 Turbo 6 speed and the GT1 engine was the entire reason I bought the car. After one year of sublime ownership I can proudly say it’s the best car I’ve ever owned and driven. It’s been super reliable

Took the words right out of my mouth.

That Mazda 3 looks fantastic. Details on the lip kit please, I can tell those are Volk G25's.
