I approached That's Why God Made the Radio with a lot of skepticism, but the title track alone really won me over. I love its complete lack of cynicism or weariness.

I bought this album on CD in the fall of 1997, and all of my friends made fun of me for it. Their mockery didn't deter me, though, and I still love it.
