They didn’t alter the game to do this, only exploited something within the game’s code. And the speedrunning community already makes distinctions between runs like this vs. runs that require you to complete certain or full conditions vs. runs that can’t use glitches/exploits, etc.

I sincerely doubt they did 30 takes. I imagine they may have only done 1 take each. There’s a line there where one guy took too long and had some pauses, like it’s the first time he’s even seeing the script, and then the other guy’s line starts overtop of it before he finishes. And not in an organic conversational

Also it helps that Robin Williams loved cartoons, and generally seemed to get that voice acting requires different things than acting. Robin Williams was an actor, but if he had wanted to he could’ve probably transitioned into being solely a voice actor much like Mark Hamill essentially did.

FYI in Elden Ring you can only be invaded if you first co-op summon a player. If you remain solo you can never be invaded by another player. So rather than disabling multiplayer/playing offline, just don’t summon people (or invade for that matter) and you’ll be fine.

Considering in prior souls games there’s some incentive to go on a pre-NG+ murder spree to collect any unique drops before everything resets anyway, this is good stuff to test out. And also good that there’s nothing worthwhile for killing him, so you don’t have any reason to bother.

They’ll be perfect when perks and things decide to be consistent about whether the melee attack counts as a weapon or a melee. A bunch of perks don’t interact with the melee attack the way you’d expect i.e. not getting bonus damage or not triggering a perk to activate. And yet they also aren’t treated as regular melee

You’ve got your idea of chromosomes flipped. XX = female, XY = male.

For the record, for anyone who needs to know it, you can use Rainbow Stones to test fall heights.

Why the hell is the headline not just, “Parents Of Employee Sue Activision-Blizzard, Alleging Sexual Harassment Led To Daughter’s Suicide”?

Nice to know. I was already saving and quitting to menu though, as I assumed this would have the same problem I found with rest mode for Dark Souls 1-3; coming back in disconnected from the online, requiring you to go out to menu to reconnect.

Yeah feels a bit like some of the previous trailer work was meant for a version of this. But then the intro got rewritten or redone and the previous footage didn’t work, and there wasn’t time or budget to have all this different crap made.

There’s no loss to just trying. The cutscene plays after every completion, so you’re not missing out on a singular chance to view it if it doesn’t play. Also not that big of a deal as a scene; while I get preferring to see it in-game, if you’ve played the mission and then go watch it elsewhere the only difference is

I finished the mission first time, saw entire cutscene. Got triumph credit. Didn’t progress the quest, so I had to do it a second time and thankfully that time it popped the quest forward to the next step. So good number of things a bit buggy here.

This was doomed from the start, right? We’re all on that same page? Like from the first step, the misunderstanding that because the games were imitating action movies that meant they should also make an action movie was totally flawed thinking.

Rather than DLC, isn’t it much more likely this is left-over from a scrapped version of a starting cutscene? As it is now they have Arceus ask about you as a character creator, then he gives you your modified phone and drops you in Hisui.

Would be cool if it’s anything interesting, and can be acquired in game. But seems just as likely it’ll turn out to be some debug/test items not cleared away, or an unfinished armor set that shares visual assets with an existing one because it never got made. Something along those lines. Would be nice if someone from

I do feel like mechanically, he should’ve had a smaller cap on upgrades he offers. Like only up to 10 or 15 slots. There’s only so far you can stretch the “I’m teaching you how to use space efficiently” schtick. Then after that, just put like 2 permanent “pouch upgrades” for sale somewhere that give you the rest of

Sounds like some people behind Blockverse realized the legal trouble they might be facing
