Really glad I could watch such an incredible Origi on display. Incredible footwork, amazing headers and “the Belgian smashing it in” was a satisfying finish.

Does it need to be diluted or is it good straight out of the bottle?

I talked to a group of twenty-somethings yesterday that don’t know who Vanna White is so I’m not surprised they wouldn’t know about an atlas or guide book.

I just wanna know your favourites. What do you go through the most? What do you feel is the best value in your fridge? Also, what’s a good fish sauce?

Recommendations?

I got excited every time he lifted his hand(s) to play the next notes. A great Monday morning laugh.

Came here for this. Left happy.

Well you prepay rent so that’s not debt and if you are renting you don’t need a mortgage so there’s that. I recognize in the US you have medical emergencies that can cripple your finances but we are talking about outliers. I don’t think anyone is gonna tell their kids to not go to the hospital to avoid debt.

+1 besmirched

That’s some real mental gymnastics you had to perform to get to that point. The part where I said “immediately” I actually meant immediately. In case it didn’t come across clearly enough what I was implying is that I spend $100 on my credit card when I get home I put $100 onto my credit card. And if you want to get

If this article was talking about a kid wanting to borrow money from so they can buy a used lawnmower to start their own business we are having a different conversation here. That’s teaching your kid responsible debt usage and I totally agree that there is a time and place for it. But to suggest that there is value

You don’t need to go into debt to build credit. I mean sure you have to spend on a credit card but you can have the money in your bank account to pay it off immediately and that builds your credit the same way.

Oh, I know adults learn best through experience and my understanding is that children do as well. My point is that not all lessons need to be learned through experience. You don’t have to teach a child the burner is hot by letting them touch it.

You can teach children about debt other ways with a lens through your values.

Suggesting that people can’t learn a lesson without experiencing it is an extremely limiting belief. Literally every lesson can be learned using someone else’s experience (outside of, like, learning to walk).

Or, you know, teach your kids to not spend money they don’t have. Instead of creating a distaste for debt this is going to normalize it instead. This is the worst advice I have ever seen on this website and that’s saying something.

This is a good message and I would add that kids are generally more capable than we give them credit. Use big words, talk lots to your kids, use adult conversation, read to them and have high expectations are all helpful ways to improve your child’s vocabulary.

Articles like this always make me realize how in the dark most people are when it comes to the current and projected near future abilities of computers.

I bet it’s no more than 5 years away once there’s a significant enough number of self driving cars on the road. If there’s 10,000 self driving cars on the road that’s 200 million km a year in experience. Those cars are bound to experience just about everything that can happen on the road and that’s many, many millions

I will read every article about sled dog racing. Fascinating to read about the extremeness of these events.
