I saw a bottle of salt that said “gluten free.” That’s clearly for people who like to think that eating gluten free is healthier but have no idea what the hell they are doing.

The wonder weeks stuff is a really good resource. It has lined up with our experience every time he has a tough day/night/few days.
We have a 5 month old and he recently started going through the dreaded “4 month regression” that we’ve heard so much about. So many parents told us that it’s so hard and frustrating and exhausting but we recognized that he was probably just ready for a change and we responded to it. We are extremely fortunate that he…
I’m not sure what you mean by nickel and dime? We consider everything that we make shared income. It means that there is never any inequity and that we are both responsible for our financial future. I can understand why you would keep them separate but my wife and I have very aggressive financial goals and it is…
It’s less about trust and more about convenience. Way easier to budget and pay bills from a single account. We have equal discretionary amounts in our budget so that the person that makes more money doesn’t get more spending money.
Niagara still sucks and Ontario is the worst.
The emergency situation is my favourite. Now, I would never willfully wish harm on someone but, I would like to see how I would react in that environment. I’ve taken first aid so I think I would be well prepared but oh man is that a high pressure situation. Dad voice would definitely be used.
Don’t peel the potatoes before cooking it will bleed out flavour if you do. Boil them skin on and then easily peel with a knife while hot (using a clean dishcloth to hold them). The warm milk and melted butter are keys. Make sure to add butter first because it they will get weighed down and lose their fluffiness if…
Peanut butter, with a thin layer of butter and topped with chocolate sprinkles (the Dutch De Ruyter brand made for sandwiches) is the best sandwich known to mankind.
They might not be your expectation of a small business but they get their own business licence and the accompanying tax benefits. I spoke to my hygienist this past week about her experience and she said owning your own business was one of the best parts. And she only did it for a year and is no longer involved.
I think we are seeing the current rise of direct sales that will eventually lead to a massive fall. In the end there will be a few of the mainstays (Avon, Mary Kay, Amway, Tupperware) but most will fail because it is too much about high pressure sales and loading up on inventory and more and more people are going to…
If only you could build your team with glory boys like TY Hilton, Tom Brady, JJ Watt, and Antonio Brown who definitely all wear their own branded products all the time.
I watched the first 60 seconds of the foosball “highlights” and it was just them warming up? Like “let’s make sure our foosshafts are lubed up” nonsense.
Depending on the time (pre-work=shower, post-work=go home) but my gym has shower stalls so no communal showering. It’s one of the best parts of my gym.
“With age comes wisdom, but sometimes age comes alone.” -Oscar Wilde
Did you finish reading the intro? He literally said that the job of reconciliation isn’t done.
I think all these are good except the choking hazard one. That’s a line that shouldn’t be crossed.
LOL. HEY EVERYONE WE HAVE AN EXPERT IN ALL DRIVING LAWS ACROSS NORTH AMERICA! Why would I lie about that? What exactly would I gain? Anyways here’s the link since you are so confident. I’ve been driving here for 15+ years and I know what I’m talking about. You will find the info on the left hand side in bold.
Yeah, it’s hard to say if it does or not. In Edmonton we have an excellent road network (some major thoroughfares, but a lot of great surface streets) so traffic is rarely that big of an issue. I think because people are used to it it actually is a decent way to do things.
Perhaps I’m the one of the fortunate few guys that has honestly, and I mean it, never physically engaged with a woman that wasn’t consenting. I mean, the only non-relative I’ve ever even held hands with is my wife. I think most of that happened by accident as much as anything else. My mom was active in teaching me how…
