To be accurate, the bakers and the photographer were objecting to the gay marriage ceremony, not the the gay people themselves. I haven’t heard of anyone refusing to photograph or make a cake for the birthday party of a gay person...have you?

Eager- most of the population in the US is covered by state anti-discrimination laws. The EEOC has also ruled that gay discrimination violates Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, so there are grounds to take your case to court regardless of where you live in the US. To my knowledge Michigan is the only state that prohibits height discrimination...so if you live there, you’re correct. Otherwise, the lawsuit would go nowhere. Please cite a source if you believe there’s some merit in your comment.
