That alfredo recipe is all well and good and probably makes a nice and gooey sauce.  Take it up another notch by squeezing a lemon into the cream when you first add it.  It actually thickens the cream a little bit and adds a nice little zing.

I don’t really drink a lot of milk, I mostly use it for cooking. And when I do buy it, it’s from a local small farm and not an industrial milk conglomerate.  But I live in an area where my regular grocery store has it, and the farm where I get my CSA also sells locally produced milk and make their own cheese.
