I do not know about the rate of fetal alcohol syndrome, but I worked with teenagers who had that as diagnosis. It has negative consequences for brain development - it’s not a joke. I don’t think pregnant women should be scolded for having two drinks, but heavy drinking should be discouraged.

Eh. I think you can speculate that after ten years of wearing thongs that they aren’t very comfortable or all that attractive. It isn’t really the same as telling people in there forties and fifties how to parent their children or manage their money.

I hate vape pens, even more than cigarettes sometimes. The cigarette smokers will smoke in their designated area. The vape pen smokers will not smoke/vape in their designated area, and insist on blowing smoke/vapour around like assholes. Ugh.

I couldn’t even read the first book start to finish. The “inner goddess” as a cartoon doing a tango or salsa was an entertaining substitution though.

Yeah, I watched this movie again with a friend of mine and that component seems a lot more sinister than it use to.

I borrowed a copy of a friends only read the sex scenes. Blegh.

I liked thinking of the “inner goddess” as a pornographic variation of the Lizzie McGuire cartoon character. That was the only component of that book I found entertaining.

I read it as a child and teenager in the two thousands. I still read them when I’m up at the family cottage with my friends. We have Archie Comics from when my mom was going up there in the seventies. To me, they have always been very comforting.
