I think it could be argued we should eat animals of lesser sentience (chickens) instead of animals of higher sentience (pigs) if we are going to eat other animals. There have also been arguments made that eating bivalves are acceptable because they have a very scant nervous system.

I cannot think of a rape case where the accused had admitted to rape. When there is physical evidence, the accused occasionally admits to having sex with the accuser, but not having raped them. Is is it about superiority or arrogance? People will confess to other crimes.
