As good as In Bruges with half the recognition. I love Martin McDonagh but enjoy his brother John Michael just as much. Favorite Don Cheadle role.

PDD sketch had me laughing loudly last night and again when I watched it this AM. Also the Photo Shoot sketch had the crowd consistently laughing. When Gleeson smiles it makes me smile—if you have seen The Guard you know how much mileage he can get out of it..
So the two sketches which made me laugh loudly last night and watching again today were not even referenced? Photos was a crowd pleaser and showed off the great connection between Farrell and Gleeson and Gleeson playing the 67 year old High School Senior had laughs, good references and a nice ending! Also I love that…
Not only your perfectly logical point but also considering a time when no ingredients, additives, dyes, chemicals or preservatives, etc., were studied or excluded. I imagine most of these are meant to be kept forever, never to be used/consumed?
An avowed Anti-Sulfite?
I remember seeing it when I was a kid, he inhabited that role so fully his career was altered because looking at him, all you see is Manson. He is a decent character actor who was kind of punished for his brilliance!
That’s a great observation for season one, since yeah the big dull guy was a great shield for Kev. Kevin’s lack of recognition on Monday that everyone was turning on him, and no one, not even his usual buddy, sanctioned his buffoonery, made me even dislike him more.
Mike’s way is the Italian way, at least with a light application. Every place, I make it the same with the oil/vinegar, etc. but out of all the SUB chains (neighborhood grocery stores always understand) Quiznos kept asking “What do you want on the bread?! Mayo, or what?! Unclear on the concept for sure.
An excellent point, I doubt Worcester would allow it, after his second sentence. Having seen or met people like him East West North South, there are places in the US where gentility reigns, and other places looking for someone like him to take down immediately. He does seems unable to read a room or show any…
Toronto is my most reliable indicator of films worth a watch versus publicity or hype. I take the length of applause partly as being caught up in the moment but certainly 2 minutes compared to 15 could mean a problem. Guadagnino’s going to get a big reception in Italia, and though I am excited about The Banshees and…
The two TV depictions of bad guys which stuck with me—Steve Railsback playing Charles Manson in Helter Skelter (did it so well his career suffered from typecasting) and Guyana Tragedy: The Story Of Jim Jones, played by Powers Boothe, who was also brilliant in his portrayal. Booth as Jones saying “It’s all over, It’s…
So much fun watching Dratch be the highlight—get in, light up a room and leave. Would Kevin’s behavior be tolerated even for a minute elsewhere in the country? He is such a Googly-eyed freaky shitbird, spewing garbage and showing his ass wherever he goes, I can see him getting beat up and/or harassed regularly in…
Regarding the sweetness, I remember finding flakes and dust of the sugary coating and grains of sugar at the bottom of the bag back in the day from the cereal itself (I still eat Raisin Bran, and those raisins are sugared) and probably some of it sifts down into the powdered milk.
It doesn’t look like much in the photo, not even very enticing and I can’t really understand why it would be any kind of taste sensation, but your ringing endorsement and the fact that it is so simple and easy to concoct, well, gotta try it!
I skimmed over it the first time but your comment made me laugh loudly—don’t complain, confuse...
Always love the tiny triumphant hands raised in the air gesture from Bugs after Florida floats away!
The idea of lighter/fresher/vegetable forward sounds better than sitting for an extended period after a heavier meal. I tend towards early flights and usually the AM fare is fine—yogurt, fruit, etc. I am always reminded of the Seinfeld episode on the plane, Jerry in First Class, Elaine in the back, and she did not…
I imagine you could put the filling in a plastic bag, cut a large-ish hole in the corner bottom and pipe it into the X’s to keep your fingers clean?
I have been doing this with good results, but with an extra yoke, not whole egg. If I get the chance would love to do a taste test between the two methods. I often make from scratch but will use a mix for spice cake and the extra yoke/milk/butter method makes it taste rich and tender.
