Toronto is my most reliable indicator of films worth a watch versus publicity or hype. I take the length of applause partly as being caught up in the moment but certainly 2 minutes compared to 15 could mean a problem. Guadagnino’s going to get a big reception in Italia, and though I am excited about The Banshees and

The two TV depictions of bad guys which stuck with me—Steve Railsback playing Charles Manson in Helter Skelter (did it so well his career suffered from typecasting) and Guyana Tragedy: The Story Of Jim Jones, played by Powers Boothe, who was also brilliant in his portrayal. Booth as Jones saying “It’s all over, It’s

So much fun watching Dratch be the highlight—get in, light up a room and leave. Would Kevin’s behavior be tolerated even for a minute elsewhere in the country? He is such a Googly-eyed freaky shitbird, spewing garbage and showing his ass wherever he goes, I can see him getting beat up and/or harassed regularly in

Regarding the sweetness, I remember finding flakes and dust of the sugary coating and grains of sugar at the bottom of the bag back in the day from the cereal itself (I still eat Raisin Bran, and those raisins are sugared) and probably some of it sifts down into the powdered milk.

It doesn’t look like much in the photo, not even very enticing and I can’t really understand why it would be any kind of taste sensation, but your ringing endorsement and the fact that it is so simple and easy to concoct, well, gotta try it!

Oh my gosh I hope you are able to get your Labs soon, and enjoy all that happy, enthusiastic energy surrounding you everyday! Don’t give up.

Even when they get older and more “mature” they seem to always retain that “WOW! Ain’t life grand?!” Happy abundant cheerfulness--yes, eternal children is a great description...

Grew up with Labrador Retrievers and though I work hard at obedience and manners, that Puppy-ness they have lasts for a few years. People are surprised when their Lab holds on to goofy enthusiasm and zoom-y delight way into what they would consider adulthood. Currently have a 1/2 Yellow Lab and 1/2 Golden Retriever boy

Beyond your snark, I was simply pondering why those are preferred locations. Not all of those places you listed are an option. I assume they are trying to find somewhere a non- citizen can blend in and hide, as in the recent fugitive who was hiding post plastic surgery as a Yoga instructor in Costa Rica after allegedly

Thank you for posting these great shots. I am surprised the composite entries (which do look manufactured, such as “Fishy Business”) are not placed in a separate category?

I skimmed over it the first time but your comment made me laugh loudly—don’t complain, confuse...

It seems like North/Central/South America or Asia are the two places skeevy fugitives are eventually found. This guy hopefully sooner than later.

Yes! And cube-shaped poop. So much more interesting and lively than a Koala.

Well at least you went there and know how wonderful it was! The Reef was a highlight and I remember the Flying Foxes in the trees in Sydney, also the Galas and various other Cockatoos gathered in the park walking and flying around in the morning. I rode camels on a cattle station, took a bus way out in Coober Pedy to

Spent a month in Oz, traveling around, marveling at the critters. Wonderful trip, spent a little time helping at a rescue/rehab watching them take in whatever needed assistance and there was a scientist studying various animals but most concerned about the Platypus. Besides not knowing about the venomous defense

Always love the tiny triumphant hands raised in the air gesture from Bugs after Florida floats away!

The idea of lighter/fresher/vegetable forward sounds better than sitting for an extended period after a heavier meal. I tend towards early flights and usually the AM fare is fine—yogurt, fruit, etc.  I am always reminded of the Seinfeld episode on the plane, Jerry in First Class, Elaine in the back, and she did not

ICU nurse—have had the same old Apple Watch for several years now, very useful for many applications at work and still holds a charge all day (along with 12 hour shifts) in heavy use though I know at some point it will start to fade... 41 years an Apple customer but not necessarily a rampant consumer, I try to be

I imagine you could put the filling in a plastic bag, cut a large-ish hole in the corner bottom and pipe it into the X’s to keep your fingers clean?

I have been doing this with good results, but with an extra yoke, not whole egg. If I get the chance would love to do a taste test between the two methods. I often make from scratch but will use a mix for spice cake and the extra yoke/milk/butter method makes it taste rich and tender.
