So Dray’s point is that these incompetent front offices are totally competent at the draft, and only pivot into incompetence once it comes to developing them? Isn’t it possible that these teams just picked the wrong kid in the first place? Or that the kid entered the league too young or something?

Draymond Green’s a dick-and-balls-kicking asshole but he’s also right a lot of the time. For every can’t miss prospect like LeBron or KD or Zion, there’s a dozen guys every year who have the potential to have long, productive careers in the NBA and never get it because they don’t land in a situation that’ll help them

At least McDonald’s makes the McMuffin egg fresh.

“people really never thought”

They should just call it sous vide mac & cheese and charge an extra $5 markup

Are there people who really think there’s someone in the galley kitchen of chain joints stirring pots of mac and cheese, red sauce, pesto, alfredo, chicken soup, cream of tomato soup, and broccoli cheddar soup while sweating over short ribs, mashed potatoes, pans of lasagna, roasting chickens, and flipping burgers?

Absolutely nothing can compete with Feedly. It is superior to everything available today.

Naw,
Dickhead Assholes.

asked the jury to side with Guyger’s claim of self-defense, saying prosecutors are “holding Amber Guyger to an impossible standard” and “making innocent mistakes into evil acts.”

Not only a red door mat, but her next thought must’ve been, as she opened the door “someone broke in and switched out my couch and kitchen table and pictures and paintings...” and then she came upon the dangerous black man trying to redecorate. Shooting the perp in defense of her khaki decor was really the only

“Don’t break into someone’s house and then shoot him” doesn’t seem like an especially impossible standard.

Oh, my GOD. How does he get Chunk to sit right there? And if all the pests that eat our home grown goodies actually ate all of the fruit/veg and seemed this appreciative, maybe we wouldn’t mind so much.

All of these services are just going to drive more people towards torrenting.

Yes, the free candy business was very fun until they started charging for the candy and then hid half the candy and made people pay for candy they hadn’t bought! I got some candy myself, and was excited for my new life as a free candy connoisseur. Ah, but we were young then.

I want to rip all over movie pass for being stupid and irresponsible, but at the start is was pretty awesome getting unlimited movies.  I really hoped they were going to pull something off to make it work, but it’s pretty much a pipedream... I guess nothing gold can stay.

A good O-line makes everything better. Elliot is good, but what could the Cowboys have done with that money and a running back taken in the third or fourth round of the draft?

“But he’s done nothing in his young career but show he’s worth building an offense around”

Funny, they told me the opposite if i stopped holding my Marvel Comics in public i might get a girlfriend.

Except working in fast food actually does require skills. Knowing what to cook and when is a skill. Making sandwiches quickly and accurately is a skill. Keeping your cool during a rush is a skill. And not just anyone can be trusted to reliably show up for their shifts on time and sober.

One problem I ran into is that too many owners believe that because those jobs are technically unskilled, all employees are interchangeable. Anyone can drop frozen patties on a grill and pull the lever, so why treat them like anything other than cogs in a wheel?
