5 seasons. Even different versions internationally, with Beauty and the Geek Australia being one of the best.

The first two seasons were adorable! But season 3 had the Beauty group create two camps "Blondes" and "Not Blondes" that resulted in the Geeks teaching the Beauties how to behave in society. Then the last season brought in a male beauty and female geek, which upended the dynamic a bit too much.

I always loved the reality show twist that had the kicked off contestant choosing someone to be removed from the show with them. No votes, no nothing, just a flat out "this guy is leaving with me". Also one of the contestants went by the name "Wolf" in a non-ironic manner.

I just posted about this further up the comment thread…thank you for also mentioning it so I feel less alone.

SyFy's BlackOut, hosted by Urkel (fine, Jameel White) has that at the end of each round. Contestants have to jump onto a platform, and the losing team falls through, never to be heard from again.
