My favorite example of that styling feature is the 1924 Renault Six Roues Type MH, because the thing just screams old-timey adventure vehicle. If I had one, I’d get a big fancy mustache, monocle, and pith helmet, periodically say things like “pip-pip”, “cheerio”, and “pish-tosh” for no apparent reason, and go

The early Renaults like the 1900 model you show used a thermosiphonic cooling system; there’s no water pump. Instead, the temperature difference between the hot water in the block and the cold water in the exposed radiator creates enough circulation by convection to transfer the heat.

Engine starts with ‘E’ and radiator starts with ‘R’, therefor the radiator goes after the engine.

Or he could have spent nothing and kept his stock springs.

There once was an idiot from Limerick,

There are just over 10 fatalities per year of school bus occupants.  That’s 10 more than you want there to be, but a kid is safer getting to school unbelted in a bus than belted in their parent’s car.

By law you have to be over 70 to enter a Honda dealership in the UK.

French cars are typically more reliable than German ones, and certainly more reliable than British ones. Probably an improvement for LR.

Nope. Just typical Americans.

That is fairly easy :

Probably that it’s a whole lot easier and cheaper to source a dual clutch gearbox AND enthusiasts who complain about the lack of manual were never going to buy one anyway.

And every one is owned by someone who will challenge you to fight them over a hideous looking car.

If it’s a domestic flight and the person behind you is tall enough you’re going to ram your seat into their knees, this sounds like less of a principled stand and more like you’re just an asshole.

The Fast and the Fuhrerious

Skoda is this weird arm of VW that somehow hasn’t put VW out of business. Usually they’re cheaper, yet they always seemed nicer to sit and drive in. I remember I had a Octavia as my rental in Dubai and it was so well put together and nice to drive. Like, why you’d buy a VW over a Skoda is beyond me. They look better,
