I am thankful for our 06 Odyssey. It is unloved and pretty ugly at this point, but in 8 years and 100k miles of ownership, it has always worked (mostly) and asked for very little (torque converter, power steering line, brake pads, and fluids).

David Logic: Buys shitty, rusted 4x4 Jeep, doesn’t drive it in Michigan because salt will make it rusty.

If you used half the time you spend not fixing rusted out crapcans working a part time job you could afford the payment on a decent vehicle and still have time and money for a project car.

Dear David...

BRO DID U KNOW VOLKSWAGEN IS EUROPEAN THATS WHY I PUT EUROPEAN PLATES ON IT

And cars are boats.

Smells fishy to me.

Renault and Nissan share engines. They may not share the engines used by Nissan in North America, but that’s a different story.

One point you’re not really touching upon is the fact that Renault (and France) essentially bailed Nissan out back in 1999, hence the odd ownership structure that overwhelmingly benefits France. Whether that structure still makes sense today is up for debate, but Nissan was in a fairly desperate financial situation

Here it is:

I prefer the current lineup of Isuzu vehicles.

What’s next, the Cadillac Hearse-V?

Next year, a car that’s more grill than panel.

Okay, so Toyota is totally trolling with that grill. It’s starting to creep around the side of the goddamn car.

Yep. Every year without fail, when the first snowfall comes and people have to remember how to drive on contaminated roads there’s always a bunch of SUVs off the side of the road. Sometimes on their side.

Insert the “You call that snow? I’m from Bumblefuck, Montdakota and we get 33 feet of snow a day, 300 days a year and I’ve never seen an accident!” comment here.

Combine the icy roads with the 11 foot 8 bridge for the ultimate comment show.
