And the steering wheel is not even aligned with the center of the seat. It’s shifted to the left a bit

And it looked and still looks awesome.

Like the people that finish an email with “sent from my iPhone”. There’s a special place in hell for them.

Considering that fake sunroofs exist, why not scoops?

It’s extremely easy to do. I actually find it strange now when I go back to Portugal and have to shift with my right hand. If I’m not paying much attention I will bang my left hand against the door looking for the lever whereas the opposite never happened.

It does look good. Very good in fact.

Ohhhh yes. All the stars for this one. And yes, I’m heavily biased since I own one :)

Good lord, those bumpers look hideous.

I don’t want to call the outside of the car featureless, maybe it’s the matte paint? But something doesn’t quite add up with it.

Definitely, Das Boot audio can only ever be in German, everything else is an atrocity.

This might be a dumb thing, but is the floor in that space as grippy as tarmac would be? The cars seem to “slide” somewhat easily on it.

Thank you very much!

Very cool indeed!

Thank you! I think I posted a bit too late though... I might just grab the post, expand it a bit and post it on my own. The trip was indeed awesome, it was one wow moment after another.

The car, yes, it’s ordinary and before owning one I didn’t even give them a second look. But I really like it now. Some stuff about it

One link doesn’t prove anything. Have another:

Not really too big, but very meaningful. Decided to head north into Scotland and wander around, going all the way up to the Isle of Skye. Heading north from England was mostly boring motorway, but as soon as “the North” became closer and closer, the scenery started to improve. I decided to take a detour through the

My father used to have the sedan version of this, but a 1990 GL model. Everything that could break, broke. More than once.

Sunroof stopped sliding backwards, then stopped tilting. And of course water would leak in. All electric windows stopped working and not happy with that, they would actually drop into the doors.

I’m glad that one never sold in Portugal because Borrego literaly means ‘lamb’.

Voith transmissions only have (or used to only have) DNR, ZF ones have DNR and usually 1/2/3 for better control. It’s not necessarily useful on flat ground, but on hilly cities like the ones in Portugal, it’s a bonus to be able to keep the bus in a low gear while going up a hill.

Very interesting article! I did wonder about this because I can hear air trying to escape sometimes, and I didn’t know why that would happen.
