@dolo54 blows minds and blows engines!: Exactly...at least with the flash plugin, it's more or less the same plugin for every browser making it all look the same, as opposed to the different javascript engines in each browser.

@stevenajohnson: Luckily, you can usually set in the app how often you want things updated.

@dethklokso: I actually ditched my task manager on my droid about a month ago and noticed a couple of things: 1. less lag for some reason, and 2. not any noticeable decrease in battery life.
