Donald says that had he been born the son of a coal miner, he would have left, born aloft, no doubt, on the wings of his prodigious imagination. He certainly wouldn't have picked up daddy's shovel and done exactly what his father did. It's interesting to note, however, that Donald's father, Fred Trump, was not a coal…
He's here ain't he?
Other than a terrific performance from Mark Rylance, I found Bridge of Spies pretty darned dull.
Yeah, but first he'd have had to spend all that time becoming a cop, and the was Dude was 66.
Usually American Apparel (though they have their own issues e.g. Non-union, sleazy former CEO, gross ads) Alternative apparel, and recently a company from Newton, MA called "No Sweat." They're primarily a wholesaler, but my job occasionally buys bulk tshirts and I got them to send me a few sample colors in my size.
I work in a pretty relaxed environment so no one looks askance if I do some yoga/crunches/pushups/etc by my desk. It took awhile to get over the self-consciousness, but since I work a lot of 12-13 hour days, it was worth it.
Is Trump in it?
I swore off sweatshop clothing, and since I don't have a ton of money, it's essentially meant I just stopped buying clothes except for the occasional American made tshirt (which are probably made in sweatshops that happen to be in USA).

And we've been doing a bang up job of that ourselves.
With all due respect to Roland Barthes, I do think context and authorial intent should be considered when critiquing a piece of art.
I only care about Jensen's opinions on socks.
Yeah, like only one of those guys is even a vampire!
But all sharks play drums, right?
I will admit, that when it comes to Katy Perry, I do as well.
This. There's a huge big difference between "I'm a huge fan of x and want to incorporate something important to me into my art" and "Ooh, that's seems cool, let's do that!"
Yeah, why would anyone want to spend time with Ted?
Yeah, tacked on isn't quite right, but BSG never really had a perspective on religion beyond "It's sci-fi, but with god."
Meesa think so, yes.
I feel like it came at time after Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge, A Knight's Tale, when anachronistic pop music wasn't new enough to be interesting or common enough to an established trope (though it's of course been done forever) and so it felt really gimmicky.
