I guess that is kind of the flip side of the coin. We tend to overemphasize the impact of figures like Stewart, Oliver, Bee, etc in the national discourse and they think that a crudely drawn frog is winning the hearts and minds. Granted, it's a pretty dumb coin we're flipping here.
