I'm sorry, what?
I'm sorry, what?
Might at least get some Scanners-esque head explosions.
Nor the plight of America's migrant workers.
"Free small pizza with purchase of large pizza"
Or Simpsons quotes.
I blocked Buzz, and then kinda regretted it, but not enough to figure out how to unblock him.
Wait, so he lost the mayoral campaign? Or is he an actor who played Mayor McCheese? If it's the latter, and that's what it seems like, then why is his name still McCheese?
I don't need to watch it again, but I love that Howard the Duck is a film that actually got made.
I kinda feel that comic book adapters are in a difficult position. If they slavishly adapt the source material they so often fail to make an interesting film, but if they stray too far the nerds rebel against their disrespect for the comics. I imagine the dump trucks of money make it easier to deal with.
That's why I specified Deathly Hallows part 1. Also, the Matrix sequels are the first time I can remember modern Hollywood making multiple sequels concurrently and creating a story that serialized.
I worked at a local supermarket for a bit in high school. One time, a guy took a bunch habanero seeds (though possibly jalapeno, I don't know if my shitty town market had habaneros back in the 90's) and pressed them into a strawberry and gave it to a girl we worked with as a prank. She started crying and had to be…
Dios mio!
He's also one of the many comic designs that looks pretty silly in live action. Big purple guy with a Leno chin isn't as menacing as they seem to think.
I think what he's saying is that each of the LOTR movies, like the original Star Wars films, has its own narrative arc and feels like a full movie. As opposed to say Deathly Hallows Part 1 which feels like half a movie or a long episode of a serialized TV show.
Okay, I guess I meant it's not a great movie. It's certainly good. But, I don't know exactly, but for me, there's a quality to it where I don't think I'm enjoying it in the manner the director intended. I feel like it takes itself very seriously and becomes camp. Fun camp, but camp nonetheless.
Most of Besson's movies…
Well, that's fun to hear. Good on the VC for not going after non-combatants, I guess.
Right, so this is very poorly formatted essay, written in haste, by a non-professional writer.
Cormac McCarthy isn't a big fan of punctuation, but he's still a novelist.
I always really hated "Curtis", "Turn the darn 'rap' music down" is not enough meat for a daily comic strip.
Here's one thing that really old people and really young people have in common:
