Yamato/Starblazers was great, but I haven't been interested in anything he has done independently, mainly because Yamato/Starblazers was a team effort. His style mixed in well with that other guy he worked with.

Is there a person alive who played that game who didn't try to shoot the dog?

I don't mind it. And there are always really good fan campaigns (like Campaign Creations for the original StarCraft) out there to keep a person busy in between releases.

Didn't Blizzard solve piracy with CD-Keys and having most of their games longevity rely on multiplayer? I guess running your own servers would be costly, but it might be worth the expense if it forces everyone to buy a legitimate product.

Ah the quintessans - the beginning of the end for the original Transformers.

I tried playing it again a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe the amount of time I spent grinding. I could only 'grind' for about 30 minutes before putting it down again and saying, 'yep, this isnt for me'.

I feel for the parents. I don't have kids so I don't know what raising them is like, but if I ever do, I am going to be very strict and make sure they grow up caring about important things, and leave entertainment for what it is: a diversion, not life.

It doesn't feel as exciting as Call of Duty 4. The way they did the voices, the music, just the overall feel. Feels like it would of been hard to go wrong using Call of Duty 4 as the template. I guess I'll wait to play the single player to pass a firm judgment though.

It was dropped by Activision after their restructuring. I'm a Ghostbusters afficianado, but I have to say, even when it was being developed under Activisions wing, it seemed mediocre. Sort of like all those movie-games you see today that are so generic and boring.

How effective are 36 shamans in a raid? Is it supposed to be like the most uber combination there is?

Who is gonna be at the end, modern Mike Tyson? He can bite your ear.

Star Trek was nice and all, and I've always played most of the games growing up, but I'm just not excited as I thought I'd be. Maybe Trek has been out of touch for too long for me. And Enterprise sucked, so no help there.

Or instead of going to the trouble of mounting 27 panels on a wall, and having one of the middle ones go out (which would then be a pain to disconnect), you could just talk to your friend who runs a theater and hook it up to one of their HD projectors on an even bigger screen. Problem solved.

Who cares what they ban or unban in prison.

For some reason, adding bookmarks became a lot harder with FireFox 3.0, does this fix it?

You own a DeLorean? Hello? Anyone home? Think McFly, think.

But a lot of people will do it purely for the fact that they get a brand new shiny car out of it. Some people look for any excuse to spend more money.

38mpg, about 40$ to fill up a tank. Since I switched from a car that gets half that, to me its just like paying the same old same old. Gonna put some money together and buy something with even better mileage when I can. In the meantime, not gonna whine, just gonna adapt.
