He should be buried in all of the Emmy's.
He should be buried in all of the Emmy's.
Honestly, for details like that, I can live without the show being on for a couple of years.
The 'Mask of the Phantasm' score always reminded me of the 'Hunt for Red October' score.
YES!! All of this!!
I want all of those glasses!
For me it's 'Y: The Last Man'. It a series screaming for the HBO treatment.
Thank you for giving up on this story. I'm in the same boat. Until I literally see something from the BBC about the lost episodes, then i'm not believing that they exist.
I could see Synder screwing up a Batwoman movie something fierce. I could see it being more about fetishization than empowerment/telling a good story.
I think it's been pretty well established that Lucas is a great ideas man, but in terms of actual execution, he needed someone like Gary Kurtz on the ground being able to tell him "no" or "this is how we actually make it work".
The funny thing about GL is the fact that Reynolds wanted it so bad to work. He really plunged himself into the role. He really wanted to be Hal. But the sad thing is though, Reynolds never completely submerges himself in the role. You always just see him, never the character.
Honestly, I think he was miscast as Anakin. I really do. He actually does have some acting chops that expand out from "Ohhhkay, be whiny, be whiny, give the rapey look to Natalie.....Okay, cut! PRINT!"
Wild Zero does not get enough love in the Sci-Fi community. It should be noted that anytime you listen to Guitar Wolf, you save the world. It's a fact:
The cool thing about Hitchhiker's is that it does get better with age. I remember walking out of the theater with a spring in my step. For a movie adaptation of a book, it worked incredibly well.
(Blech) Bullet Porn. Only in America.
ISAYNOTHANKYOU!!! (...and i'm okay with snakes!)
Okay, i'm not the only one who thought it was weird with each reshuffling of the personalities post-regeneration that he wouldn't choose a new martial art to compliment his personality. Granted, I get the martial arts aspect was a pure-Pertwee thing. But, at the same time, it does make you wonder if he's going to use…
Data Geordie as the original Troy and Abed. Okay, where is that episode of Community. They've already had LeVar on Season 2, why not get Brent and LeVar to do it together. I'm already having a brain explosion of happiness of thinking of the four of them riffing off each other. . . . Especially if it was an Inspector…
I think Pertwee does get the short end of the stick in terms of legacy. But imagine being between Troughton and Baker. That's a lot to live up to. Looking back on what he brought to the role, I don't think there's anyway you can downplay his impact on the role.
I was a Baker/Davison kid growing up.
