No shit, this game has been in dev a LONG time. I knew the son of one of the first Devs. He let me play it....oh, I’d say at least 17 years ago at this point. Totally different look and engine now of course, but always a top down shooter.

You should Google barebooks, whitebooks, barebones laptops, etc. It’s a limited selection, obviously. And it’ll never look as sleek as an ultrabook unless your that guy. But it’s very possible.
