Basically Minority Report. An Inhuman can accurately see the future and Carol wants to preemptively stop them while Iron Man is saying you can’t do that especially when it comes to the visions showing someone specific committing a crime.

When those characters are the few representing the minority readers, then no its not a disservice. White boys and teens aren’t going to be affected the same way if Iron Man dies, than say a young black teen who has read and loves Rhodey one of the few great black superheroes.

But we aren’t just talking about Marvel that’s the whole point. This isn’t happening in vacuum minority readers of comic books also consume other media that uses these same tropes.

This is what infuriates me about the last episode of the revival ending with a massive cliffhanger. Its takes years to get these people together, and Chris Carter wasted the perfect opportunity to just end the show in a better way than in season nine.

Lets be fair here, the main problem on that show is the material. Tyler never got the best writing on the show, but he is a decent actor so I wouldn’t be surprised if he pulls it off spectacularly.
