Lentils. It may sound boring, but with some good spices and some fresh ingredients, you can make a pretty damn good meal, and because they're high in protein, it means you can save on the meat. Google it and you can find a tonne of different recipes with lentils as a base.

I go for the "I'm only spending X amount per week at the supermarket" method. I feed myself for less than most people think possible and I've got quite creative at making something taste edible... student life. It also means fresher food than doing it the way the article suggests.

Not mentioned in the post, but I believe (not entirely sure but it seems to work) that Win+Q is the app dependent search shortcut—ie if you're in the store, the shortcut allows you to search the store and so on as opposed to only the settings page.

THIS is one of the main reasons. Sell cheap and make money after install through music, film and app sales. It's a similar model to Amazon's Kindle range.
