haha I admit that it's pedantic, however, I can't see why it would be incorrect unless the study looked at more than 2 groups of people.
Assuming the study was only looking at the two sexes, the headline should read "...have the dirtier desks" as a superlative can only be used when comparing 3 or more parties. #corrections
