I really like Rosa’s character development over the course of the series. However, would she really have a problem with cutting Debbie a deal? They don’t know Debbie so it’s not like a friend betrayed them. The justice system makes deals with smaller fish to catch bigger fish often enough that this would be routine.

I’m going to be so mad when New Zari kisses Nate and remembers Original Zari. They already have her go from “Nate is Creepy” (and he has been acting creepy) to “Nate has Muscles so let me hop on this scooter with him.”

That’s true. Of course, I can’t imagine what a mindf*ck that’ll be for her brother who instead of being a resistance fighter is in fact a stoner and never went through any of that.

EDIT: I’m wondering if the Martian Manhunter turned technogizmo to help non-Paragons remember could be used on Behrad.

Agreed. Jes Macallan does a wonderful job with Ava. There’s also a toned down Amy Santiago vibe that’s incredibly fun.

Is it wrong that I almost want this Zari to stay? I think Tala Ashe and the show’s writing are doing such a great job with the character.

It could be that encores are different than aberrations or anachronisms or it could be that they forgot about that, but set up a great joke that anyone who has ever had to give a big presentation on an idea today in the office can relate to. Yes, that joke hit home for me.

This might be the first time I’ve enjoyed (and with Charlie’s reveal appreciated) the Constantine storyline’s separation from the rest of the Wave Rider. The scene with Ray, Gary and Constantine at the table stands out to me as one of the better executed emotional beats of a TV universe that just eulogized its central

The show itself seemed to acknowledge this during the Marie Antoinette-Zari conversation where Marie talks about being forced into a marriage in a foreign country at age fourteen. It does seem weird that would put her in the same league as mafia members and serial killers. For a show that likes exposition, maybe two

Me Last Week: Why does that actress look just like Courtney Ford?
Me This Week: Oh, that is Courtney Ford. Well, I guess dual casting is better than selling their plasma to keep within the budget.

This shouldn’t imply more Courtney Ford isn’t great (it is!), but it reminded me what a shoestring budget this show is on.

I’m not a huge fan of the soft reboot of Constantine. I thought he was integrating really well into the Legends and to have his story so separate from the Legends takes me out of it a bit. Both are well done, I guess I think it’d just be cool if they were tied together a bit tighter.

Not just a hobby! It’s a fully formed enterprise. Order one of these mattresses with promo code LACERATION.

I like this idea far more than I should. I never really thought that Ciara Renee was the problem when it came to Hawkgirl. She was just a victim of very bad character development.

I interpreted your comment about remembering as “from another life,” not the “present at pivotal life event,” as you have pointed out. I may not have been watching as closely as I should have watched.

As long as they don’t fall in love with one of the actors and insist that we rewrite the entire season because the actor who plays an Axis Power dictator is a cool dude between takes I think we’re in for a consistent and good season.

Did she remember Nate? I thought that was a tactic to elicit information about the stolen amulet. I shouted “NATE, YOU FOOL! YOU’RE BEING PLAYED!!” Now, to be fair to Nate, I would have told her instantly. It’s Zari as played by Tala Ashe. Maybe the writers were just playing it vague or a recurrence of “it can be two

If I read this correctly, I am in 100% agreement that it is to the show’s benefit to tone down the giant Beebos. Those things are fun, in large part, because they are so rare. IIRC, your favorite episode “Here We Go Again.” There was no gimmick. It was just a well executed time loop episode with jokes. “Moonshot”

A joke that was riddled with both side-ism. They then had the implication that a bunch of African Americans would have just let Obama off the hook.

I burst out laughing. I think that the anticipation of what song it could have been makes the joke that much better. Also, Superstore had a very fun, song related opening though The Good Place blows it out of the water.

While Rip was frustrating, unlike with Mona and Gary, the show never attempted to give an excuse for his behavior or pretended that his behavior wasn’t crappy. Plus, if you were going to have Rip truly bow out, I don’t see how anything would have topped what happened.

This was a creative decision as we had to be very creative on how to stay under budget when The CW cut our budget (yet again) and our GoFundMe page got upstaged by a war hero’s medical bill to donate his kidney to a random stranger.” - The only way “creative decision” makes sense.
