The FOM wanted to spice things up. That was the reason why the reverse gridding and everything was brought up. It has nothing to do with any sort of anti-trust thing. This is about qualifying.

In my opinion, one of the things that makes NASCAR so successful, despite it just being a thing here in the states, is that the fans get to do things like take pictures, and interact with the teams, sponsors, so on. Youtube, Facebook, SnapChat, all are fair game.

I wouldn’t go so far as calling this a dumpster fire. That would imply that neglect was involved to permit the fire in the first place.

BMW’s have turn signals?

I’m sorry, but having seen one of these up close I will say that whoever is making these needs to do the world a favor and stop.

Given that he achieved hero status on being able to get the car back to the pits, the long ways, I would give him a free pass on everything having to do with running a stop sign, no turn signals, wrong way on the street, until he got the car back into the paddock.

While I was in the Navy, we called this a “buddy tab”. We had to use some really pain in the butt tape sometimes. That tab was the only thing that made us able to use it and not tear it in a way that caused it to comes off in strips down the roll.
