Why did this actually make me laugh rather than just the typical “say lol but really just push air through nostrils”

For me, price is a number when compared to my bank account.

The offical AV Club party line is that The Last Jedi was an amazing movie that revitalized the Star Wars franchise, and if you didn’t like it you are a sexist CHUD who deserves to rot in your parents’ basement for all eternity.

Hell, The Last Jedi was one of the best things to happen to this series in decades and people are still arguing about how it was actually bad.

This is my point precisely: financing should be a choice, not desperate necessity. If you can’t pay cash, you can’t afford the car. If you are able to pay cash, you are perfectly fine choosing financing if the math works out. Makes sense? 

So typically people aren’t even coming close to putting 20% down on a financed purchase, which will lose ~20% of value in the first year, meaning that - typically - people are upside down for the entire life of the loan.
