Oh, interesting. CDOT should probably do some more education about this requirement; as a plow operator I’ve driven in every snow event for the past 3 years including the one that closed DIA and never seen any notifications of a code 15 or notices about required equipment.

I’ve lived in CO for 10 years and never owned an AWD vehicle; are you talking the chain laws for truckers or something else?

I’m thinking more A6 or A7 TDI. Hopefully in the end this scandal hurts resale values there, too, because I’d love to own one if I can find it CPO for under $50k.

I like seeing the guesses it makes on weekends.

This is a device which relies on precise, accurate meaurements of body chemistry and has to be constantly maintained through calibration to perform its job accurately. It arguably provides no benefit to the vehicle owner provided they are a responsible adult. If they aren’t a responsible adult, well, how can we trust

I’d argue lots of people care about Prime streaming, and lets be honest Amazon’s phone was a piece of crap.

+1 for Travelpro. Mine are black but I just attach bright-colored tags so I can find it at baggage claim. Their backpacks are also quite good, I use one for work (long walk from the car to the office).

Thanks, this is very helpful. While the extra year of warranty coverage is nice (although in my experience, electronics rarely fail in their second year - its either within the first year or many years later), I’m not sure the value proposition is that great on the damage repair side.

I mean, 24-hour time is great and all but some people just prefer less numbers. It’s a silly quibble I know, but I like the fact that 18 out of 24 hours in the day can be written one digit instead of 2. Most of the time, AM/PM can be inferred from context (No one schedules meetings at 2AM, for example).

Is there anywhere we can compare this pricing to what you’d pay if you had your device repaired through Apple without AppleCare?

Basically, the camera will take the foreground image with the telephoto lens and use the wide angle to help blur imagery in the background. This is a feature that won’t be available until later this year, but the samples I saw looked great.

I’m guessing the “adapter” that comes in the box with the new iphone receives analog audio from the onboard DAC and amp.

Not every company is set up like the military. I don’t work *for* my boss; I work *with* him and if what he wants me to do doesn’t make sense I will let him know. It’s worked out well for me so far over a 10-year career.

Even on shitty wifi, yup. It is pretty rock solid.

Plex is definitely easy to setup and maintain; much easier than the alternatives for someone who doesn’t want to spend a lot of time tinkering with this sort of thing.

Out of those choices, the 90lb dog one.

I wonder if they’ll update the Surge soon in a similar fashion? I’m a fan of being able to GPS-track my workouts without having to bring my phone. My current surge next to any recent smartwatch makes it look pretty dated.

Damn, man. Even at work I can’t touch that.

Missed that, thanks. Makes the whole thing quite silly, then.
