Yeah, but the iphone is running different software so it's difficult to compare. Some might argue that iOS is more efficient both in power and resources in order to hit those benchmarks. I would be included in that group.

The signal drop-out is quite annoying when you get marginal reception. I noticed it happens more if you use wi-fi, which I guess makes sense. I wish they could have come up with a fallback system of some sort, like with HD radio where it falls back to analog without interrupting the content.

Are there specific rules in place about how much and what quality coverage the networks must provide over the air? I'm sure there are, I'm just not familiar with them. Like, for example are they required to serve a certain percentage of the population in a given area with a certain quality signal?

Sync does suck, but I think their heart is in the right place. Siri while driving is hit or miss, because sometimes she will have follow up questions or try to go on the web or something.
