NHTSA runs the roadblock studies, called the National Roadside Survey of Alcohol and Drug Use by Drivers, like this: local police stop motorists, order them into the roadblock area without talking to them, and then federal contractors ask them to participate in a survey about their drinking and drug use habits. The

I worked foodservice when I was 14. I was making like $500 a week, way too much money for a teenager, and basically un-learned the value of money and screwed myself for the coming college years when I would be forced to live on much less (and unwisely chose to supplement this with credit cards).

Nice job! It really is about controlling your intake more than anything. I'm 6'1 and was also up to about 260 some time ago. I'm at 240 now and feeling a lot more healthy just from that first 20lbs dropped. My goal is to get to 200 by this summer. Haven't been there for probably 10 years.

I think it should be mandatory for everyone to spend a year working in the service industry, to weed out all the asshole 5% tippers of the world.

Here, I'll oblige:

12. 12 Airplanes crashed.

I see other ST's on the road fairly frequently, but nowhere near as often as I see WRXs. I've yet to see a Fiesta ST in the wild (other than the one I test drove). And I have to say I disagree with the popular opinion that the Fiesta is a better car. It has nowhere near the torque and as such a fairly boring

We are currently trying to have kids, so yes..and no. You kind of have to follow a schedule, but it's not like you set a time for it. You just have to make sure you stick to a routine, like every other day, and when that time of the month comes along, every day (or more often).

I'm in my 30s as well, and was not exactly a straight-edge kid in my youth. Right at the end of my college days we started seeing heroin around more and more. Right before I moved across the country, a friend of a friend died of an overdose. The following year, I started hearing about more and more of the people I had

Actually, people around here do the zipper more often than not. I think deep down everyone is aware of what should be done, they just sometimes forget.

I'm not sure if you mean the metal electrodes on the handles, or the machine's display itself, but you can get a chest strap heart rate monitor that goes around your chest, and most machines will pick up the signal on their display. I found that those are more accurate (as long as it is positioned correctly).

I checked the location history, no data for either of my google accounts, and I'm logged into google maps on my phone.

And if you hold - I think - the rear defrost and max AC buttons together for 5 seconds, it resets the current settings as default.

Ah, yep $70 each way is a bit steep. Wasn't sure. My folks live on Martha's Vineyard, and a regular car on the ferry there is about that in the winter (more in summer). Of course out there you don't have another option if you wanna drive. I figured since the LI ferries compete with going the "long way" they might be a

Have you tried one of the ferries? Port Jefferson or Orient Point, depending where on LI you are headed. I've heard good things about the experience but never used them myself.

I would trade in my Tacoma tomorrow if I could get a manual, 4x4, diesel Colorado.

I did have one in high school and let me tell you, fun was had.

Has anyone seen the movie The Wrestler starring Mickey Rourke? Because this story really has that kind of vibe to it. Different profession, though.

Oh, I see. I couldn't remember but I knew it was in there at some point.

300 would not be enough to get me to trade up. It would need 350HP to feel appreciably faster than the Focus ST, I think.
