The two points on that map are physically about 15-20 miles apart. That might be stretching the meaning of "a few" (personally I'd have chosen "a handful"), but not that much. It might take an hour to drive there, but that doesn't change the distance.

Plenty of people enjoy riding horses for fun as well, but that doesn't mean we have to ride them work.

All the stores I usually shop at put the Manwich next to the chili and the beans. Not sure why.

I believe they finished paving the whole course just before last year's race, so (unless I'm mistaken) the new record and old record were both set on the same track.

Considering it was supposed to be a more budget-friendly version of the F-22 (and less plane as a result)... I think you have your answer.

I would have no problem with iOS in the car, except it still means a proprietary system. A compatible vehicle will almost certainly not work nearly as well with a windows or android phone. It's just as bad as what we've got now. What if the owner of said car doesn't want to keep their iPhone? Now, they have to

The airports are at least thinking of the power issue. I worked on an expansion for a large airport and we added outlets under every pair of seats. Actually, we used a little box that has two 120V outlets and two USB plugs. We did an area with about 6 gates, and there were ~400 of these things.

I was at the gym once when this guy must have spent 5-10 minutes putting on his hand/wrist wraps, only to weakly punch the heavy bag six times. He then spent five more minutes taking off the wraps and walked away, looking quite content with himself.

Smartphone operating systems are generally more well-designed and intuitive than the proprietary in-car systems, so that's a plus - however, having a proprietary dock is just as bad as the proprietary system it is replacing. I hope they at least leave a USB port for those people who choose not to buy Apple products.

Yeah, I know how it is "supposed" to work and we did try to set it up that way. It does not, in fact, work that way. If you pair two phones and set one as favorite, it always looks for that phone even if it's not there and won't connect to the second phone. Then, if you try to delete them and re-pair to get it working

But you can't make phone calls through USB, so it's still an imperfect solution.

We both have iphones on the latest version of iOS. I am familiar with the bluetooth settings on these devices, and I'm not sure there really could be anything I've screwed up as setup is very cut and dried in iOS.

My ST has the Sync and it has been nothing but trouble since we bought the car. If I had it to do over I'd skip the touch screen.

You're correct there. Although ARRA did go a long way to getting us back on track. It was similar around here too but lately everything is a lot better.

I'm not sure this bodes ill at all for enthusiasts. It's not like the automobile, the road system, or our fuel station networks are going anywhere anytime soon.

My dad's got a Tiger! Great little plane. He's had his since the mid-80s. I don't know what he paid back then, but it was probably around $40k. All through my childhood it was our family truckster. We flew all the way down the east coast from MA to FL in that plane. It's actually amazing how accessible general

More specifically, if he is selling items for $2500 or less, the fee is 10%, but yeah I get what you're saying.

In the case of this particular item, it looks like they would charge the maximum fee of $250. If the game sells for $15,000, that's 1.7%.

The lonely safety switch in the alley is probably just abandoned from an old air conditioner that's no longer there.

Yeah, I don't think that's really applicable to the generation as a whole, but definitely a valid point. People who graduated college in 2007-2009 were basically fucked. I am a millenial but graduated in '06 and was never unemployed after that. I thank FSM for that, most definitely.
