Yeah, I was gonna say that as well. Neighbors around these parts do not take kindly to reckless fire-related activities such as fireworks.

In Colorado, it seems they will sell you fireworks, but if you try to light them you're gonna have a bad time. According to the news, all fireworks are banned in my county, but there are fireworks stands set up all over, including one across the street.

I believe they finished paving the whole course just before last year's race, so (unless I'm mistaken) the new record and old record were both set on the same track.

Now we're talking!

Someone needs to photoshop a Google Glass headset on racoon girl so Giz can keep up their streak.

Here is another SS from google earth, showing how their lidar stuff looks. Very similar to Apple maps.

Google uses user-created maps and LIDAR-based solutions as well. They have both.

And the technology is years ahead of anything else on the consumer market.

I do find that Google Maps tends to wait a bit too long to tell you about a turn. Often you end up having to look at the map to see what's next. I agree, they did a good job. I finally deleted TomTom from my phone to free up a few gigs of extra space.

By the end of the year, Colorado and possibly Washington will show what happens when it is legalized for retail sale. I don't think the bottom will fall out at all. The grow operations that I've visited in Denver are perfecting their techniques and equipment now that they're not forced to be discreet about power usage and don't have to

Google will be around, but they are not shy about shutting services down. Yes, I know, all those services listed are successful right now, but that's not a guarantee that they always will be.

In the social networking chart... people really facebook all their professional contacts? The LinkedIn bubble should be partially or mostly outside Facebook.

Considering it was supposed to be a more budget-friendly version of the F-22 (and less plane as a result)... I think you have your answer.

I'd imagine the owner of the car is still at fault, since they told the car to go park itself. I personally would never let my car go park itself for exactly that reason.

The quality of service really does make all the difference. Totally understandable to bail on a company that treats you like that. I'm rather indifferent to their products in terms of what you get, but I still keep mine because they have never done me wrong when there was a problem.
