Fusing a 15A wire at 20A won't do anything, unless you actually try to draw 20A on the circuit. Then there is a slight increase in fire risk. It will not "fry everything in your house."

I keep it pretty slim, but not super slim. Just enough that it isn't uncomfortable to carry around all the time.

I was at the gym once when this guy must have spent 5-10 minutes putting on his hand/wrist wraps, only to weakly punch the heavy bag six times. He then spent five more minutes taking off the wraps and walked away, looking quite content with himself.

Well, actually it's locked before they push back (at least on the planes I've been on lately), but same difference. You can't hijack a plane that's in the gate.

You may be correct, I only remember seeing the plane fly overhead..

Yeah, and their takeoff weight would definitely be limited at that.

When Clinton flew to Martha's Vineyard every summer on his vacations, it definitely wasn't on the VC-25. MVY's longest runway is only 5500 feet... I don't know if it was this particular plane but I do remember it being very similar looking, with the twin tail mounted engines.

I had a mechanical watch and hated it. I guess I just don't get the appeal. My watch is a tool for telling time and not too much else. I paid good money for an accurate one because that is important to me. Whether or not I have to take it to a repair shop for a $10 battery every ten years or not is of little

Half a second a day is considered good?

Half a second a day is considered good? My watch is considerably less expensive than any of these (I assume) and it stays accurate within a second for at least several weeks. It sat in a drawer for two years and was still accurate to within a minute or so.

CenturyLink? I'm paying $70 for the 40 meg. I got in when they were offering the 20meg upstream too, which is awesome.

Where: Denver, CO

Oh, good. They have adopted the Autodesk pricing philosophy. Next up, they will make photoshop files completely incompatible with prior versions.

Smartphone operating systems are generally more well-designed and intuitive than the proprietary in-car systems, so that's a plus - however, having a proprietary dock is just as bad as the proprietary system it is replacing. I hope they at least leave a USB port for those people who choose not to buy Apple products.

Yeah, I know how it is "supposed" to work and we did try to set it up that way. It does not, in fact, work that way. If you pair two phones and set one as favorite, it always looks for that phone even if it's not there and won't connect to the second phone. Then, if you try to delete them and re-pair to get it working

But you can't make phone calls through USB, so it's still an imperfect solution.

We both have iphones on the latest version of iOS. I am familiar with the bluetooth settings on these devices, and I'm not sure there really could be anything I've screwed up as setup is very cut and dried in iOS.

My ST has the Sync and it has been nothing but trouble since we bought the car. If I had it to do over I'd skip the touch screen.

You're correct there. Although ARRA did go a long way to getting us back on track. It was similar around here too but lately everything is a lot better.

I'm not sure this bodes ill at all for enthusiasts. It's not like the automobile, the road system, or our fuel station networks are going anywhere anytime soon.
